Dana Schleicher and Matt Hagan
Love quite literally came knocking on Dana Schleicher’s door one fall afternoon when Matt Hagan decided to introduce himself to his new neighbor.
The theme of their Palm Beach wedding was classic Southern charm with a twist of Palm Beach prep. “Although it was a black-tie optional affair, it was important to us that it was warm, meaningful and most importantly–fun!” says Dana.
The groomsmen’s gifts included bowties in the colors of their college/alma mater, and they wore the colorful bowties at the reception.
Guests were provided trolleys and bikes (yes, bikes!) as transportation to/from the church.
“The most memorable moment was walking down the aisle with my father toward my soon-to-be husband,” says Dana. “My second favorite moment was during the ceremony when we turned around to look at our guests. I will always remember seeing the faces of our dearest friends and family in one view. And the reception turned dance party was the most fun!”
Matt’s favorite memory: “Before the reception, we snuck away to have our first dinner as a married couple. As we ate, we were able to peak through a window and see our guests enjoying cocktail hour. It was a great way to take a step back from the celebration and take it all in. “
