Mitzi Nicholas of Naples, Florida, and Kenneth Abbott Metcalf of Long Island, New York, were married on April 7, 2012.
The ceremony took place at Naples Community Church in Naples, Florida, followed by a reception at Bistro Soleil at the Olde Marco Inn on Marco Island, Florida. Revered Dr. Kirt Anderson performed the ceremony.
The bride works as a Marketing/Operations Manager at Fifth Avenue Design Gallery. The groom has a background in sales and is currently retired. He is the son of Ann Metcalf.
The couple was introduced by friends of a friend and met on a blind date on November 9, 2010. Kenneth proposed on April 9, 2011 – five months to the date after the couple first met. He surprised Mitzi during dinner while watching a magnificent Florida sunset at the Marco Island Ocean Beach Resort.
The couple will reside in Marco Island, Florida
