If you ask Heather Bernstein and Vladi Yurovsky what the key to romance is, they’ll tell you it’s all in the details.
The couple, who met through mutual friends, got engaged on their 7-year anniversary at Ferrari-Carano vineyard and immediately purchased a bottle of wine from the location. On November 12, 2011, they drank that bottle of Ferrari-Carano as husband and wife.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at The Grove Isle Hotel & Spa, and the theme was “Key to Romance.”
Keys were incorporated into their guestbook, programs and escort cards. Each bridesmaid bouquet was adorned with a small antique key that Heather had given to the bridesmaids when they were asked to be in the wedding party. The keys either said, “hope,” “success,” “love,” or “dreams.”
Heather wanted her wedding to be full of important memories and details, and she credits her mother for its success.
“My mother worked very hard to give Vladi and I the wedding that we wanted,” she said.
The best part of Heather’s wedding day? Seeing the look in Vladi’s eyes when he saw her for the first time.
“It was nothing but pure emotion for us,” Heather said. “Kissing under the chuppah with the fireworks behind us was also a once-in-a-lifetime moment I will never forget.”
