When it comes to experimenting with affordable fashion, it might be best to leave your wedding off limits. But when a popular and fashionable overseas retailer launches a capsule collection of affordable pieces intended especially for weddings, you can’t help but be a little curious. At least, we were when we learned that British high-street retailer ASOS (a favorite of fashion bloggers and social media stars like Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Girl and Blaire Eadie of Atlantic // Pacific) will roll out its first-ever Bridal Collection in March.
The capsule collection will comprise 18 pieces—none priced higher than $400—ranging from ’30s-inspired lace frocks to a slinky, v-front slip dress to sparkly, beaded and tulle separates. There’s even a drapey jumpsuit for more daring brides, and an ivory, body-con, above-the-knee number that’ll likely resonate with ultra-casual brides-to-be—whether for themselves or their bridesmaids.
Below is a sneak peek at the collection, which is fun to peruse even if you still have your heart set on a dreamy designer gown.
