August Birthstone Inspiration: Peridot

August is just a couple days away, and with it comes new birthstone inspiration. This time: peridot. This is one of our favorite birthstones of all, thanks to its citrusy and summer-friendly lime hue. In linens, the shade can translate into a neon yellow-green, and in flowers and fruits it can take on a slightly softer, more natural appearance. However you use it, it’ll add a pop of citrus cheer to your celebration and leave your guests feeling summer vibes even after the wedding is over. Here are a few inspiring ways to play with peridot for your big day.

Instead of draping round tables in blush or ivory linens, opt for citrusy green tables and chairs left uncovered to give your party a splash of summery color.

Neon-green napkins glow against bright white linens and dinnerware. Looking for a complementary color? Try regal purple, which Ashley and Jordan did on their wedding day, or preppy navy blue.

Get a double dose of peridot green by placing single Granny Smith apples atop baskets of green-trimmed napkins to keep them from flying away in the breeze.
