We see our fair share of wedding dresses here at Weddings Illustrated, but every now and then, a designer comes along and sweeps us off our satin-stilettoed feet all over again. That’s what happened when photos from the Fall 2016 collection of designer Ines Di Santo showed up here in the office, and the designs are just too good to not share with you, too.
Di Santo’s collection has a little bit of everything, from slinky column gowns (above, center), to a long-sleeved dress with a plunging neckline and high-low hem (below), to a body-hugging—and on-trend—mini with a frothy train (above, right). In addition to Di Santo’s beautiful lacework and beading, we’re smitten by some of the more bold and unusual silhouettes found in her designs. (Who knew we’d fall so hard for a skirted lace playsuit?) Here, we’re sharing a few of our favorite looks from the Canadian designer’s latest collection. Most of our top picks are body-hugging and include special flourishes, like invisible sleeves with floating embellishments, contrasting hemlines, or exaggerated peplum. There are plenty of more-classic designs in the collection, too, which means there’s something to suit just about any bride. You can head over here to see the collection in its entirety and watch a video of Di Santo’s runway show.
Are you as wowed as we are? Florida brides can find Di Santo’s dresses at bridal salons in Coral Gables, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, and Tampa.
