Nothing says romance like watching the sun dip below the horizon from the deck of a cozy boat, and that’s exactly why we love the idea of saying “I do” aboard the Solaris, a 125-foot yacht owned and operated by SunQuest Cruises and located at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort‘s Baytowne Marina.
Once on board, couples and their guests will set sail on Northwest Florida’s calm waters. Brides and grooms can exchange vows on any of the yacht’s three decks before transitioning seamlessly into a completely customized reception executed by a designated SunQuest wedding planner in partnership with the company’s preferred vendors, from photographers to videographers. SunQuests’s events team works side by side with brides and grooms to determine everything from floral schemes to dinner menus, and the yacht’s culinary team prepares couples’ food and beverage selections—seafood, steak, hors d’oeuvres, and more—fresh in the on-board galley.
Couples who prefer to divide their ceremony and reception time between dry land and the high seas can do just that, as SunQuest also offers off-site catering for beach weddings and receptions.
Although there’s ample parking at Baytowne Marina, SunQuest can also arrange valet parking and golf cart service from the lot to the yacht, and a site-wide tram provides transportation to guests who opt to overnight at the resort.
A little bonus booking incentive: SunQuest is offering up to $1,000 off to couples who book by the end of 2015.
