Natasha Rozenberg and Cesar Cruz
“Cesar (Rickie to those who are close to him) was my maid of honor,” says Natasha. “We planned the wedding together and got to be really creative with it. All of the tiny details and aspects of the wedding were done untraditionally. Rickie was the first one to see my wedding dress, and he helped me choose it. He even helped choose the bridesmaid dresses!”
The ceremony and reception were held at the Weston Hills Country Club. Continuing with the wedding theme, colors of ivory, champagne and pastel pink dotted the venue.
How the bride and groom met: “We met three different times coincidentally. At first we met in a pool hall. We were both there with our friends playing pool. I walked by him after going to the restroom, and he proceeded to tell me I was beautiful. I said thanks and kept walking. A few weeks later I was waitressing at a different pool hall, and he was one of my customers. He asked me if I remembered him and if I remembered what he had told me, and I replied that I did. He started coming in all the time after that, but I told him that I was seeing someone. A few months later, we were both matched up to each other on a dating website. We established a friendship and a few months later started to date. We had a connection like we had known each other our whole lives.”
Natasha’s favorite part of their wedding day was the first look. “He cried, and I wiped away his tears,” she says.
