For Stephanie Cohen and Jordan Lerman, the way to each other’s hearts was through food. The pair, who live in West Palm Beach, met as students at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, where Stephanie was in the Baking and Pastry group, and Jordan the Culinary Group.
Among tricks of the trade and culinary skills the pair picked up at CIA was a winning recipe for love—they were married married on October 18, 2015, at B’nai Israel in Boca Raton.
For their wedding, Stephanie and Jordan chose a “warm chic” look that consisted of a coral, soft white, and gold color palette and lush flowers that included dalsimer, roses, hydrangeas, and ranunculus in shades of coral.
For Stephanie, the highlight of the day was the couple’s first look. “Seeing Jordan for the first time was such a private and special moment,” she says. The couple and their guests celebrated with a ceremony and reception, where Stephanie and Jordan shared their first dance to “Lento,” by Daniel Santacruz, and cut into their cake—a decadent combination of chocolate with vanilla filling, and red velvet with cream cheese filling.
The couple, who are now co-owners of Jardin restaurant in West Palm Beach, spent their honeymoon in New Orleans and the the Caribbean.
