This week’s question: “When is it appropriate to use email or social media in place of snail mail?“
Email and social media can replace snail mail only in the cases of informal occasions. This includes your save the dates, wedding RSVPs, wedding announcements, extremely casual engagements or bridal showers, and wedding updates.
You should never use email or social media to replace your wedding invitations and thank-you notes. The only exception may be if you planned a last-minute or surprise wedding, but otherwise, stick to tradition.
