In May 2014, the National Hotel Miami Beach, which was built in 1939, unveiled the results of a $12 million renovation, which included updates to and redesigns of all of its meeting and event spaces, an exterior facelift, and refreshes to its historic items. The most exciting news for brides and grooms? According to Catering Manager Catarina Suplicy, the hotel’s main wedding space received a new kitchen, new furniture, bistro lights, new marquee letter signs, and even glamorous up-lighting in its palm trees.

And now, the hotel is sharing its exciting updates with area wedding professionals in a very real way. On October 14, The National Hotel will host a mock wedding reception—complete with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment—to showcase its amenities and bridal offerings to area wedding planners and professionals. If you’re considering a celebration in Southeast Florida and want to see the reinvented hotel for yourself, contact Catarina at 305-423-7264 to schedule a private visit and tour.
